- Reduces oil production and breakouts
- Softens fine lines and promotes collagen
- Improves pigmentation, sunspots, and melasma
- Gives skin a radiant glow
- No downtime, minimal discomfort, and makeup can be worn the same day.
Ideal For:
- Dull or uneven skin
- Oily or acne-prone skin
- Enlarge pores
- Acnes scars
- Pigmentation or melasma
- Anyone wanting a fresh glow before an event.
What to expect
- Treatment process: A carbon mask is applied to the skin before a laser is passed over it, which heats and exfoliates the top layer of skin cells and removes the mask.
- Benefits: The procedure works to resurface the skin and boost collagen, enhancing overall tone, texture, and pore clarity. It may also improve concerns such as hyperpigmentation, sun damage, acne scarring, and fine lines.
- Downtime: Downtime is minimal, allowing most patients to return to normal activities right away. Mild redness or swelling may appear temporarily and usually resolves within a few hours.
Post-treatment care
Immediate care
You can apply aloe vera gel to soothe your skin. If you develop a blister, apply an antibiotic ointment like Polysporin or bacitracin twice a day.
Activity restrictions
Avoid hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, and strenuous exercise on the day of the treatment. You can resume mild exercise immediately.
Daily routine
- Sunscreen: Apply a medical-grade SPF 30+ sunscreen containing zinc oxide every two hours and wear protective clothing or hats when in the sun.
- Cleansing and moisturizing: Gently cleanse and moisturize your skin for the next few
days. - Product avoidance: Do not use products with retinoids, hydroquinone, glycolic/salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, astringents, or Vitamin C for at least one week.
Treatment schedule and maintenance
- Initial series: A series of 5-10 treatments is recommended, ideally performed every 2 weeks for best results.
- Maintenance: Maintenance treatments may be needed every 1-3 months to address new pigment stimulated by sun exposure, heat, or hormones, depending on your individual results.
- Long-term success: Laser treatments are only one part of the solution; consistent at-home prevention and maintenance efforts are crucial for continued improvement.
